Description
Daruma Dolls are Japanese wishing dolls. When you make a wish, you paint one eye and when the wish comes true, you paint the second eye.
The Daruma Doll is named after Bodhidharma, a monk who is credited with introducing Zen Buddhism to China. Bodhidharma is often pictured sitting in a red robe while he meditates.
